Yeah.

That's from someone who's never actually played it (was stuck on the EQ2 boat for a bit), but it looks like WOW to me :)

Never got stuck on any MMORPG boats yet and I hope to stay off the water indefinitely. I just can't afford that kind of time commitment.

Ehyeshh...

It's worth it (well the monthly fee anyway) in someways, and not worth it in others. I'll say that in a lot of ways it's been fun...


And in a lot of ways, it's been sort of hypnoticly entertaining, that is, you'll wake up after a couple of hours of clicking and tell yourself 'what the hell was I doing for all that time'

Exactly, and I have more important things I *should* be doing with my time - like practicing on the bass guitar, or working on adding swing dance moves to my vocabulary, or catching up on my anime. Somehow, it all seems to be much more worthwhile.

In the two MMOs I've played, I'm always the one getting the party killed :)

I have a suspicion that this one was setup (there's a lot of talk on various forums around the net) ....but it's still funny because we all know it's true :)
